Hahndorf Academy is hiring a Retail Assistant for our busy shop on Hahndorf’s beautiful main street. The role is a volunteer position with one half-day shift per week and the likelihood of some additional paid weekend shifts (casual award rates apply). Experience in a retail, sales or customer service role is essential. Basic computer skills are essential, and the ideal candidate will have some experience with retail software. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Duties include:
·  Greeting visitors and promoting our museum and exhibition programs.
·         Product sales.
·         Processing sales on our retail POS system.
·         Handling cash and EFTPOS payments.
·         Light cleaning.
·         Pricing stock.
·         Merchandising of stock.
