Connections 2: Images & Objects - Ed Douglas

A few years ago Ed Douglas had an epiphany while holding a piece of firewood.  In that branch he saw the abstract form of a human torso.  From that moment on natural objects, mostly found on his Adelaide Hills property, have become the muse for his art. Ed brings several decades of experience as an artist and art academic to this vision.  Like everyone he has a head full of images, experiences, knowledge and intuitions which also influence his vision.

'Ironically the things that I currently find of deep interest are lifeless but they are not without energy and, at times, they convey something like spirit.' Ed Douglas
