Participants will create a book-like amulet to offer the wearer comfort and consolation. Participants will devise signs of protection, writing them on natural papers and using leaf dyes for colour, then creating a fabric neck adornment to mount the book pages onto. Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed toe shoes. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work closely with a world-renowned artist over two days, learning the fundamental techniques of her practice with plant dyes.
