Hahndorf was originally named Bukatila or Barkatilla, meaning deep pool. Hahndorf Academy acknowledges that we work and walk upon the ancient lands of the First Nation People and pay our respect to Peramangk and Kaurna Elders past and living today as the traditional custodians of this ancient land.

Seeing Through Light with Asher Milgate
Saturday 29 November 2025 3:00 pm 5:00 pm
This workshop offers a fundamental and inclusive entry point into photography—designed for both children and adults focusing on seeing, light, and composition. It is a practical, hands-on session using iPhones (or any phone camera), aimed at shifting perception, not just improving technique.
The goal is simple: To awaken participants to the magic of light, and empower them to make compelling images—regardless of their equipment.
