Meet the artist: Roe Gartelmann will be painting in the gallery, Roe inspires people to paint when she visits us and she is happy to chat about her work. This is a good opportunity to see her in action and she runs art classes with us so see if you think she is the art teacher for you.

The Hahndorf Academy acknowledges that the land on which we stand is the traditional ancestral land of the Peramangk People and we like to pay respect to the Peramangk Elders both past and present, and acknowledge their ongoing custodianship.
Join Silvia Stansfield and Nici Cumpston for an artist talk in the upstairs gallery space. Be among Silvia's work in her exhibition Narratives in Clay. Enjoy a discussion about Silvia's ceramic works and her career as a prolific ceramicist. There will be wine and nibbles. Everyone is welcome and this is a free event.
The Hahndorf Academy will come alive with the sounds and activity of traditional trades plied in the 19th C village.
There will be displays and working demonstrations showcasing traditional crafts, skills and trades by artisans passionate about their craft.

The Hills Victorian Ladies will be dressed in period costume to add colour and context to the occasion.
